Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HedgeMath collects, why, who else handles it and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs: the numbers you type are used to show your result. Calculators need no account, and we don't save what you enter.
- Account details: your email address, a hashed password (we never store the password itself), your plan, and the sportsbooks and sports you choose to save.
- Your state: the state you tell us you bet in, if we ask, so we show the right sportsbooks.
- Bet tracker: the bets and results you add to My Bets. Only you can see them.
- Beta application: your email and the screener answers you submit.
- Payments: when paid plans launch, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number; we keep your plan, billing status and payment history.
- Usage and technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting, and privacy-friendly page-view counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.
We never ask for, collect or store your sportsbook usernames or passwords, and HedgeMath doesn't connect to your sportsbook accounts.
Cookies
We set one sign-in cookie when you log in, and your browser stores your light or dark theme choice. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
How we use it
To run the service and your account, calculate results and recommendations, keep the service secure, process payments, answer your messages, choose beta testers, and send you service emails (such as password resets and renewal reminders).
We don't sell it
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share your betting data with sportsbooks, advertisers or data brokers.
Who else handles it
Service providers that process data for us, only to run HedgeMath:
- DigitalOcean: hosting (servers and storage)
- Cloudflare: domain, DNS, email forwarding and web analytics
- Stripe: payments, once paid plans launch
- Our email provider: sending account and billing emails
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business (in which case this policy continues to apply).
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, hashed session and invite tokens, restricted server access and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you as the law requires, including New York's SHIELD Act.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep your information while your account is open. To see, correct, export or delete your data, or to close your account, email support@hedgemath.com. We'll delete your account data, except records we must keep for legal, tax or billing reasons.
Age
HedgeMath is for people 21 and older. It isn't directed to anyone under 21, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app.
